Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner” Restocks

Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner has been restocked this year.

The first colorway of Kanye West’s Yeezy Wave Runner 700 launched in November 2017, following its public debut earlier this year as part of the Yeezy Season 5 runway. The retro lines of this sneaker are complemented by a chunky silhouette reminiscent of an earlier era. The mesh sole is finished in Gray on the quarter panel and Bright Blue and Teal on the forefoot. Suede overlays reach toe and heel accented with gray leather eyelets. Other details include neon green laces, a chunky white midsole, and pops of black and bright orange.

The “Wave Runner,” the first entry in numerous Yeezy catalogs, caused controversy when it was first released. Many were skeptical of the shape, the myriad of colors used, and the similarity to the unpopular, bulky sneakers of the past. However, this colorful sneaker has finally stood the test of time and become one of the favorites of Yeezy lovers.
